Vindication of the Superfriends

Remember the animated cartoon Challenge of the Superfriends?  With all those classic DC heroes and villains facing off?  Every episode began with that great title sequence, showing all the villains being bad, with the Flash's enemy Captain Cold finally just going nuts and somehow doing this:

 "...?"

I'm here to say maybe that's not such an outlandish image as one might think.  Behold!  Saturn's moon Enceladus.  Those plumes on the bottom represent ice volcanoes, spewing water vapor into Saturn's rings.  I've helpfully rotated NASA's image here to help make clear the fact this is only happening around Enceladus' south (or "bottom") pole.

So, there you have it.  Even in Space, there's up and there's down.  Good thing, too, because otherwise I'm pretty sure we couldn't have concepts like good and evil.  Close call!
